LaunchBoard is a four week non residential program by the Startup Oasis and TEDSTART Jaipur, India. LaunchBoard is an initiative to help budding entrepreneurs and potential startups that are at the idea, prototype of pre-launch stage with a practical approach discussion, advisory and hands-on efforts. The program will help participants develop approaches to gather customer feedback, build a prototype and explore the uncertain while developing the critical ‘most valuable proposition’ for their enterprise or idea.
Participation is open for individuals and teams (Max 3 People). Participation in the workshop will be basis information provided in the program registration form. All selected participants will be required to pay a fee as per category.
TEDSTART Jaipur is the joint initiative of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan, Startup Oasis (CIIE Initiatives) and Center for electronic Governance (CEG) to develop the innovation and startup ecosystem across Rajasthan.
Introduction - The objective of the program will be detailed whereby participants will be able to build their prototypes and demonstrate Proof of Concept, i.e., customer exists for the product and the entrepreneur has the ability to build the product.
Problem Solution Fit - Participants will discuss their ideas, problem statements, market research done, and overall solution that they want to focus upon.
Customer Segmentation and Features of the solution - During this session, participants will identify specific customer segments and their pain-points. Participants will also identify features of the solution that could address customer pain-points.
Competitor Analysis and Stakeholder Mapping - At this stage, participants will map out the various alternatives or competitors that exist in the market for the same problem, share the proposed solution and key features of the same.
Riskiest assumptions of startups - Participants will examine the risky assumptions made by startups and explore how assumptions could be tested and validated.
Action list preparation - Participants will create an Action List to summarise the day’s sessions, outline milestones to be achieved in month 1 of the startup and activity list for week 1 of the workshop with the assistance of workshop facilitators.
Progress review presentation by participants on their progress and challenges envisaged for their startup.
Entrepreneurs’ Startup journey of idea – prototype-product stage, challenges faced and solution finding process.
Value proposition canvas session will allow participants to use the canvas to detail the customer problem statement and solutions that will best address the same while specifying substitutes currently available to customers.
Prototyping and testing. Participants are educated on the nuances of prototyping, testing the prototype as also likely challenges wrt resources and costs. Participants will create a rough draft of their product and outline its features.
Action list preparation. Participants will create an Action List to summarise the weeks’ sessions and prepare an activity plan for week 2 and 3 of the workshop that includes preparing a proof of concept i.e., building their prototype and receiving feedback from potential friendly customers.
Participants will work on their prototype and receiving feedback from potential customers. Mentors will work closely with the participants during this period.
Peer reviews - Discussion on prototypes, progress, challengers. Interactive session with facilitator and peers.
Prototyping challenges - Entrepreneurs will discuss challenges in creating prototype and communicating to customers their Most Valuable Proposition (the product that can be produced and sold to customers).
Pitch preparations - The participants will create pitch deck and a storyline created for their presentation and prototype showcase.
Presentations - Showcasing prototype, product story and startup plans by startups.
Mentoring - Mentoring plan for one-on-one mentoring
Participants will be required to work on the Action list prepared during the week with the assistance of SO Team.

3. Entrepreneurs, who have attended Foundation workshop held by Startup Oasis: 2500 Rupees
4. Entrepreneurs, who have NOT attended Foundation workshop held by Startup Oasis: 3000 Rupees
After the workshops we expect you to initially validate your startup Idea in the market and then you have to present in front of the Startup Oasis team, after which you would be recommended for appropriate incubation Process at Startup Oasis.
Funding of a startup depends upon the team, idea and traction of the startup. Startup Oasis does not guarantee any sort of funding however if the startup reaches a presentable level we help them to connect to potential investors.
No, as for now we have only this date available for the workshops and we would not entertain any startup on an individual one-on-one basis.
Yes you can bring your co-founder for the workshop; however we expect a maximum of 3 people from each team.
Yes, but it depends on the performance of the startup and the business model that the startup is able to develop.
No, as for now we conduct only offline workshops.
